The first story may not be inked by Vince Alascia, but it wasn't inked by Rocco Mastroserio either. I checked out this comic right after finishing a Robin Hood issue of Thriller Picture Library. What a painful adjustment. I notice that in American comics Robin is almost always clean-shaven while in British comics he wears a mustache or a beard.

I would think he should ALWAYS be sporting a moustache AND a beard.  He was supposed to be disguised as a "common man of The People - not carelessly giving away his secret of being born of the Saxon lessor nobility.
