When Kirkpatrick inked her own stuff (see first story) she really shone.

I think it's actually Gerald McCann? Because there's a BIG change in quality from her other comics such as on National Comics.

Nope, not McCann. I like McCann a lot, but I'm first to admit that throughout his long career his layouts and character designs never altered. His stuff always had that 1930s pulp illustration look, while Kirkpatrick was influenced more by 1950s magazine and advertising art. She has several solo stories in Romantic Marriage and more in other Ziff books. As for her DC work, I suspect the difference lies in the inking. Here at Ziff when she's inked by others her art looks much different (and in my opinion, less attractive).

The inking looks similar. She obviously used photo references in those Marriage comics why all of a sudden she was good at faces and bodies.
