I share your amazement, dwilt. There seem to have been hundreds of these titles. Everybody and their brother published one (or more). I see this one was published by Minoan Press, which also published the Toby line of comics. It's unusual to see one with color pages. Some comic artist names pop up in here, like Ernie Bache, Tony Tallarico, and Frank Ridgeway

I wonder if anyone has done a historical overview of the adult cartoon book phenomenon.

And that probably explains why the quality of the jokes is so bad. I can't imagine how difficult it would be coming up with so many one page cartoons on a regular basis.
