Batman Noel - My Christmas ritual
« on: December 17, 2020, 11:56:45 AM »

Every year I drink a glass or three of red wine and settle down to this stunning novel. The artist of Batman Noel is a genius and was born to draw this story, and what an excellent story it is. Make no mistake, while some Batman adaptions such as the Batman Vs Jack the Ripper (Gotham by Gaslight) animation was horrendous, this adaption of the classic Dickens novel is very, very loose on the original and a superb, beautiful story in itself.

Feel free to join me in spirit reading this title (available online in digital form and all good bookstores) and/or the reading group Xmas titles with a glass of wine or mead this time next week.

I'll be reading this again in a couple of weeks. The artwork, lettering and colouring in this graphic novel is the best I have ever seen. Feel free to join me.
