Well, we will just have to agree to disagree.
The Artist here is Dan Speigle, one of Dell's best and one of the Dell artists [ Russ Manning was another] who revitalized my attention in comics in my Teenage days.
Please remember that these artists and writers weren't paid huge amounts of money and some did substandard work, but definitely not Speigle. This is beautiful work and shows a love of the assignment and the West and great technique. And I say that as someone trained as a visual artist. Writer was Gaylord Du Bois who was also no slouch.
And thank you for drawing my attention to it.
Not all artists work in the Neal Adams 'realism' style, Many artists - particularly in the Golden Age developed very distinctive and unique personal styles,
