Fans of Canadian comics with lots of disposable income should check out Heritage Auction's new sale of Golden Age Canadian comic books. Some choice stuff in here! There are roughly 90 items. As of this writing many are actually affordable (like $5), but this is Heritage Auctions, after all, and the sale lasts another 22 days. Expect astronomical prices. Top of the pile so far is Nelvana; no surprise. Presently she's bringing $1300.

As always the biggest pain in the adze isn't the sky-high prices, but the fact that many of these rare comics are slabbed so no reader (or scanner) can ever enjoy them.
