Phew! I guess people in the 1940s were awfully more cavalier about slaughtering wild animals than they are now, judging by Captain Marvel's story. He doesn't even let the fact that the gorrillion is the last of its kind stop him from killing it. Meanwhile, Clarence, the man responsible for most of the carnage, gets away with it! On a lighter note, it seems awfully quaint that Sivana really seems to think running a circus will make him the richest man in the world. It may have seemed silly even back then. Over all, this is still a fairly enjoyable story.
