hello !
« on: May 04, 2014, 01:31:53 PM »

I am only a comic-books aficionado... currently living in France!

I'm looking for stories about the position of women in the US Army when the latter was stationed in France... so feel free to share any advice!

Thanks for welcoming me in the community!

Hello fdepplor.  Welcome to CB+.  Unfortunately I haven't a clue about your request. Or even where to start.  D.C. comics had a female resistance fighter, Mlle. Marie in one of their war titles in the '60's, but that is no good to you.
D.C. Thomson have been publishing Commando comics for decades but it is a British pub. and tends to feature British and European war stories.
There is an expert on Commando comics on

who goes by the monicker of colcool007 and you could certainly write to him.  He's a good bloke, and he's Scottish.
I'm not a fan of war comics but perhaps some of the others can help.
Apart from that, have a look around.  You might not find what you are looking for but you might stumble across some good, entertaining reads.
