Lou Fine's drawings are Beautiful! Remember me the art of other great comic strip masters: Alex Raymond, more specifically after WW2, when drew Rip Kirby strips, and Stan Drake.
I don't know if "Adam Ames" was also published in my country, Brazil, but it's possible cause many American strips were renamed and published in Brazilian comic books during 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.
For instance, "Rip Kirby" was renamed "Nick Holmes" in Brazil.
