Hi everyone,

Coinciding with my newly-appointed VIP status, I have an announcement which you might want to make note of because it will probably be a while (read "years") before I'll be able to make a similar one.

I have just uploaded to the site for approval, a complete copy from paper of Popular Comics #80, from Dell, which I gained access to some little while ago for scanning.  (To the administrators and moderators: the upload link worked for me this time!)

I also edited the images myself (this was the "secret project" which I had mentioned at one time to a few members), and if it hadn't been for the avalanche of work that piled up on top of me in the last few months, I'd have been able to get it done a lot sooner.

A note about the scans: Any aspects of the scans themselves which may be deemed deficient will probably be a result of the fact that, due to the circumstance under which I had access to this issue, I could only handle it certain ways.  As to the editing, I tried to sit the fence between those who prefer to the see the aged look of an issue as it appears now and those who prefer a completely cleaned-up, "like it was printed yesterday" look.

Glad it's been such a welcome addition for some folks--especialy Dell4C, who seems to be exceptionaly gratified.

I'm particularly glad because it makes all the more worth while the trouble I went through getting all those blue and purple shadow tones the shades they should be.
