Howdy Comic Land

Hey gang, Batjack here.

Have been reading comics since I was a kid and have been into Golden and Silver Age comics since I first read Mike Benton's books on the subject and Tony Isabella's 1000 Comics You Must Read.

For those who care, I'm looking to read all 1000 of said "Comics You Must Read" and have found Comic Book + and incredible resource in facilitating this mission.

I'm also looking to track down and read as many of the 1940's "Canadian Whites" (comics created, published and distributed in Canada during the wartime print embargo) so if anybody has any info on how to do that would be incredibly helpful.

Thanks for the greatsite!

G'day Batjack. Welcome to both you and your enthusiasm. Question. Do you have an online link to Tony Isabella's thousand or do I need to buy the book?

Hi Batjack. Welcome to CB+.
I haven't read Isabella's book but I wonder if there are non American titles in there.  Well worth your while having a look at our selection of comics from other countries.
We'll all be curious to read your reactions to what you read compared to the reviews in the book.
