Obtained from my local library a Marvel collection of the character BETA RAY BILL, This character was created by Walt Simonson druring his run on THOR.
Methinks there is at least one CB+ member who is a serious Walt Simonson fan.
Simonson is not in this collection but there is a three page interview with him and Johnson, the artist on this book.  In the interview Johnstone says, 'One of my favorite things about your art is your inclusion of sound effects and the typography used for them.'
There is a page printed to give an example. "Examples of the kind of sound effects Walt Simonson created with John Workman.' Page from Thor #340. Halfpage illutration of Thor and Beta Ray Bill smashing their hammers together. And the sound effect?
