Does anyone else think the monster on page 41 looks like the one-eyed monsters from flint baker?

That made me curious, so I went running to the GCDb to pull up a list of Dick Briefer's credits. Surprisingly, I could find no credits for Briefer for anything drawn for Fiction House. Seems like he worked for so many other publishers, it made me wonder why. Briefer's Rex Dexter of Mars (from Fox's MYSTERY MEN COMICS) just seems like it would have been a perfect fit for PLANET COMICS. The early '40s Planet Comics, at least. Plenty of weirdies in Rex Dexter, but I don't recall the specific Flint Baker monsters you're referencing. Who knows, they all swiped from each other now and then.
