As usual, a mix of familiar and unfamiliar celebrities in this issue (especially to those not familiar with the UK in the Forties and Fifties). Danny Purches was a "gypsy" (Romany) pop singer who had a brief career beginning around 1955; Jewel & Warriss were a long-time comedy team; Cardew Robinson, radio & variety theatre performer; Shirley Eaton was an attractive actress of the era perhaps best known for "Goldfinger" (well after this comic was produced); Issy Bonn was a "Jewish" comedian mostly on radio & music halls; Norman Wisdom was on his way to becoming one of the UK's top comedians; Petula Clark gained more fame as a singer but was a juvenile actress at this time; Charlie Chester, TV & radio comedian; and Benny Hill, who gained his greatest fame in the '60s & '70s on TV. Unlike many issues of "Film Fun," there are no "foreign" (i.e., U.S.) comedians in this one.
