What a wild ride this Invisible Avenger series is! The first one you show has the Avenger as a bad guy who is killed in flames. In the 2nd one he is the Blue Ghost, a good guy. And in the 3rd he is gone, and Comet Man takes over. So is this #1 of Comet Man? If so, who is he and how did he originate? I am glad to see all these UK comics. But there is hardly ever an origin story. I think I like the Canadian best. Especially their version of Whiz and Capt. Marvel, etc. The artwork is nothing special, but, even though it is the same stories as in the USA, it's different. I have some of these, and wish you all were able to get some. I would share mine with you, but,I as yet don't know how to do it.

I've never quite got to the bottom of this.  IA Comics is an overall title for different heroes and stories, it seems.  By the way, they are Australian comics, not British. This site is a help as it has info. and some covers.  Worth a look:-

Some of the site seems to be down right now, but keep checking.

Thanks for that link, Paw. It appears that the first dozen (or so) issues actually featured the Invisible Avenger, after which the comic became a portmanteau title.
