This is the early work of E.C. Segar [Elzie Crisler Segar] - the creator of Popeye.

the information at the end of this article, 'Legacy and Influence' is Jaw-dropping. For one thing, I would never have seen Popeye as a major influence on the creation of Superman, but once stated and thought about, it makes sense.

This book is not in good condition but I l would rather see it here than not see it at all.
