Prepare to scream! scream! scream!

The new Godzilla v Kong movie is released in March and will be followed by a deluge of tie-in publications:

I admit to a ridiculous love of Godzilla movies ever since seeing one of those 1960s movies in a Saturday morning club fleapit topped-and-tailed by American actors.

Then I saw the 1933 King Kong on television and was blown away.

I have always been a HUGE Godzilla fan since I was a kid, and am eagerly awaiting Godzilla Vs Kong. I've seen the original King Kong Vs Godzilla dozens and dozens of times and I never thought I'd see the day when these two titans of destruction would ever cross paths again, and yet here they are! I highly enjoyed the previous movies: Godzilla, Kong Skull Island and Godzilla King of the Monsters. All three were a lot of fun! But for me nothing compares to the Japanese films, my favorites are:

Godzilla Vs Monster Zero
Godzilla Vs Mechagodzilla
Terror of Mechagodzilla
Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah

I also have a collection of Godzilla toys that I've been collecting since I was a kid. And I just recently placed an order for these:

They're expensive, but I just had to have them!  ;D

Here is a blog post I wrote a while back about my love for Godzilla if anyone is interested:

Anyway, enough of me geeking out here! LOL!  Thanks for sharing your love for Godzilla with us!  :)

Saw the preview,
Kong, Godzilla, and a little girl. I also thought there was a bit of a Pacific Rim vibe to it.
Monty Python could have written a sketch around the pitch for this. Just think about it.
Jackson's King Kong was visually amazing and about an hour too long. Who would have thought you could make a Kong movie that would put you to sleep.
I liked the Godzilla movie in which Godzilla was female and laid eggs in the New York Subways.

We seem to be in for a very conservation year for movies. Retreads and Remakes.
Hollywood thinks, well if that worked and that worked, what if you do them together.
Case in point the new Nicolas Cage movie. [guy is 57 now]
Horror movies always work right?
Denzel Washing did alright with the Equalizer and the John Wick movies are great right?
Hey lets put that character in a Haunted House for an overnight stay?
No, lets put him in a haunted Amusement Park!
Yeah, Great!

Oh, and what if real life was like a Video Game?
Can you imagine the violence?

Won't be going out of my way to watch any of these, tho.

I liked the Godzilla movie in which Godzilla was female and laid eggs in the New York Subways.

More like asexual reproduction, not requiring a mate.
Some of the more primitive reptiles reproduce this way. Others can change sex like a frog if no opposite gender mate is available.
The Godzilla of that film looked to be one of the pre dinosaur reptiles. I've seen the complete fossilized skeleton of one of these and the head was identical, resembling a black smith's anvil. The effect was more pronounced because the mineral of the fossil was dark red like a very rusty and wet machine.
