Beautiful art by Tom Peddie. That man certainly knew his way around a pen. He drew great horses, too.

Yes, excellent artwork, and good storytelling.  It fits in well with the general outlines of what I learned in school about French, Scottish, English and Burgundian history of that time.  I have no problem with poor grammar used in dialogue, as soldiers and noblemen even today, use poor grammar.  But, I don't like it in the narration.  But overall, reading it was a very pleasurable experience.
