Sure, this is just another Archie imitation, but take a look at the second story in this issue. We have a red-headed guy (Tommy = Archie), a blonde gal (Tippy = Betty), a brunette gal (GoGo = Veronica), big dumb jock (Animal = Moose), snarky black-haired guy (Ashley = Reggie). And Fawcett got sued because Captain Marvel was too close to Superman? Well, I guess Tippy and her gang were never a threat to Archie, so it wasn't worth a lawsuit.

What gets me is how Tippy Teen far outlasted Tower's most respected book, THUNDER Agents, 28 issues to 20. Even their Tippy spinoff, Go Go and Animal, lasted a dozen issues versus Undersea Agent, the leading THUNDER spinoff, which enjoyed only six issues.

I always thought something went on behind the scenes with those books.
The quality and the consistency dropped drastically toward the end of their tuns.
Undersea Agent was disappointing and had a narrative that didn't grab you.

Another one where there have been several revival attempts, and some good books created, but none of them, for various reasons, were successful.

Cheers!
