For those interested in seeing the art of this bonafide legend, we have at least 29 entries for books with Frazetta art in the GAC collection. Simply run a search for "Frazetta" on the download site.

Oh, no!

You know, I used to check out all his Conan covers back when I was only 6 years old.  8)

First became aware of his work when buying the Ace Burroughs and Klein paperbacks in the sixties. I was hooked. I always liked his western work as well, such as Dan Brand. The man could work in any genre or medium be it pencils, ink, or oils. Thank you Frank for creating dreams for us all. I raise my glass to you, sir. Cheers, Jeff

When ever I bought a book with his artwork on the cover I'd spend more time studying his artwork than I spent reading the books.

We are probably all into comics far more due to appreciation of the artwork than interest the stories.

First exposure was those great Warren covers then I bought the entire Conan paperbacks from The Captain Company in the back of those books. It was also how I got my Vampirella poster. One issue of Conan I ordered they could not supply so I could choose something else. I choose the vampi poster and they sent it even though it cost a lot more. My brother and I each bought one of the shirts also. I still have most of the Conan books but alas no vampi poster or Frazetta shirts. BTW I am one of the few who read comics for the story and did not pay much attention to the art.
