Thanks for posting this...she's new to me. Nice paintings on the pulp covers. I notice page 11 seems to be signed "Vicente Ros--" I wondered if this was Vicente Roso. He worked for El Coyote and was the creator of the "Florita" strip, which was a big hit. However Lambiek says Roso left comics in 1956 for illustration. He later became a successful painter.

Yes, Black Mask.
Despite my attributing the art to Adriano Blasco, I'm really unsure.  That's why we need input from anyone more closely acquainted with the strip.The Vincente Ros possible signature does create doubt, but  is it the same artist as Florita?

Frustrating but fun.

And here I was think Mascara was the beauty product and was calling the character Black Lash. D'oh!  ;D
