This early story from Frank Richards was so typical of schoolboy stories of the 1900s but written with a good eye for detail with in depth conversations between the boy characters which was part of Hamilton's trademark. The coming together of Harry Wharton and his uncle in such dramatic style so redolent of those days made a great yarn.
