Who precisely was The Living Bible Corporation? Were they an imprint of a publisher already in the comics business, or an independent?

@crashryan Great question - I've been trying to figure out the same thing. Haven't been able to find anything at all.
 
Random trivia: while I don't own the first 2 issues, I've seen their interiors to know the quality of artwork varied wildly. So if anyone is interested in getting the 3-issue run, consider them to be attractive as primarily cover-buys IMHO -- save this 3rd issue of course.
