About Steve Douglas. Any help?
« on: October 15, 2018, 11:51:22 AM »

Hi, everyone!

This is my first post here. For a couple years I've been diving in public domain superheroes, trying to built a comic of my own, where I intend to use some of this characters.

However, my project gave me a full hand of sub-products. I just created an compillation of one of Stephen A. Douglas characters, the Rainbow Boy. Before I submit this to the CB+ database, I'm  putting together an article about this creator, frequently said to be the first comic book editor ever. Sadly, all the way here from Brazil, I don't have access to many books about american comics and I'm stuck with stuff I could find online (not that much, after all).

I would thank a lot for anyone who could help me get more info about this guy. Anyone?

Cheeers!

(Sorry about any language artifacts. Not a natural english speaker here...)

I am looking for any and all informationon Douglas (I think it may actually have been Douglass) and am especially interested in details on his various collections of Americna pop culture ephemera.  I can't find much online or in orint about him and am hoping to find some family memebers at some point to interview. Any help or pushes in the right direction greatly appreciated!
