I love this series, it kinda reminds me of an episode of Dr Who.

The lead story reminds me of Professor Jameson, though he ended up in a mechanical body in a very different way.
I'd like to see those old stories made into a TV series or perhaps Jameson and his alien comrades (also transformed into mechanical men) might appear on a few Dr Who episodes as allies.
Since the mechanical men are nearly immortal, and Jameson himself being a reanimated corpse before his transformation, Dr Who might run into them many times over the course of millions of years.
