This comic book Whistler first appeared in 1945, so I'm sure this was an attempt to cash on the popularity of the radio progam.

I recently bought a very nice trenchcoat and fedora. After wearing these along with a black COVID mask and Foster Grant clone aviator glasses I'm toying with the idea of becoming a vigilante crime fighter. Just need to hire an Asian chauffeur who knows Kung Fu.
