Some of these covers seem to have been done by the same artist. Is that a signature on this one, top right?

I think the artist is somebody named F. Cassano. I got the name from this listing of all the Collection Pic Aventures titles:

Cassano isn't in Lambiek and I haven't found any info about him.

EDITED TO ADD: I found a comprehensive listing of French comics artists and it seems the man's name is Cassan without the "O." They say he's French and worked in the late 30s and the 1940s but they have no more info about him. (I'm assuming Cassan was male because most BD artists back then were.)
