[Quirky Quokka]

This is a really fun kid's comic. Spacemouse and his girlfriend Millie have fun as they right injustices on Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter across four stories (all in full colour). There are also 3 one-page black and white stories and a two-page short story. Lots of cute humour that predates the Jetsons by a decade. I was a child of the sixties and this is just the sort of book I would have loved back then. They even manage to weave a few actual facts about space travel into the stories. Loads of fun.

You should also look at Avon Periodicals' "Space Comics", which star "Space Mouse" and Miiie, and also include similar-style space stories starring Avon's other cartoon characters, "Merry Mouse", "Peter Rabbit" and his ladyfriend, Dazy, and "SuperPup".  They were all written by the same writer, and drawn by the same artist, Frank Carin.
You should also look at the CB+ comic book titles for those other Avon cartoon characters:  "Merry Mouse", "Peter Rabbit", "Spotty The Pup", "Speedy Rabbit", "Super Pup", and "Funny Tunes".

Thanks for that. I'll dig into the Avon comics a bit more. I liked Space Mouse because it was cute, well-drawn and there was a really sweet interaction between he and his girlfriend. But one of the main reason I liked it was that my husband and I are Apollo nuts, so I really liked the space angle. I loved the Jetsons as a kid.
