Great movie. Mega-awesome!
The the ending was really thought provoking. You don't have to be familiar with the original story line from the comics to enjoy it as they changed it so there was no loose ends. Would have liked to have seen Tim Drake's character in it, but still pretty gnarly.
And, is it just me or is Neil Patrick Harris showing up in an awful lot of animated super hero movies (Nightwing in this one)?

Well, I'm a big fan of the DC Animated movies. So I feel I'm biased. But there was a thoughtful dialogue exchange between the Red Hood and Batman towards the end regarding vigilante-ism and the moral limits of killing bad guys. Not to mention the fighting sequences were awesome and I'm glad they finally drew Nightwing w/o a mullet, lol.

I have not seen the movie but for the killing aspect you really need to check out JLA/Hitman

I just watched the sneak preview on the Batman disc for the next DCAU movie. It will be Batman/Superman: Apocolypse. It looked so cool! Summer Glau (the radical bum-kicking chick from Firefly) is going to be the voice of Supergirl. Plus, it will also have WW, Big Barda, and the rest of the Kirby New Genesis gang. The gnarliness just doesn't stop! I can't wait for September =D))))))
