Looking for some recommendations on Crime comics at GAC
« on: September 06, 2010, 01:45:26 PM »

As I've perused the many comics available for downloading here at GAC I've put together some lists of titles to check out and in which order, etc...for some genres.

There are other genres of which I'm really woefully ignorant, to one degree or another, and could really use some recommendations and advice.

Crime comics are one area that I just don't know much about.

I've been checking out the runs of Authentic Police Cases and Racket Squad (mainly because complete runs of the titles are available on the site) but am not sure where to go from there and I would really like to hear from some of you guys who have already checked out the other crime titles on the site as to which titles have great art, interesting or notable stories, etc...

Thanks in advance

I think it was either Blue Ribbon Comics or Top Notch Comics used to have real life stories from actual police files done as comic stories. I like those because I work in a law enforcement field and think the difference from how they operated then and now is of particular interest.
