Another set of Lev Gleason comics, all from fiche.
Daredevil Comics 002 August 1941. Unfortunately this is one of those fuzzy fiche copies, and is a little out of focus. The second issue of Daredevil, this one has always been scarce. In the early comic convention days you would have had a better chance of finding a nice copy of the first issue, Daredevil Battles Hitler, than this one. And I used to own both of these, way back when. Also in this issue are Whirlwind, Nightro, Pioneer, Real American, London, Pat Patriot, and the Claw. All of this for only one thin dime!
Daredevil Comics 003 Sept 1941. A fiche copy, but a little better than issue 02. This one features the same lineup as the second issue and has the origin story of 13, a new hero.
Daredevil Comics 004 Oct 1941. A Fiche Fable, but readable, the 4th issue of Daredevil.
Daredevil Comics 005 Nov 1941. The 5th issue of Daredevil. Intro of the Ghost in the Claw story. A fiche copy, but nice colors although a little on the dark side.
Daredevil Comics 101 Aug 1953. Finally, an actual paper copy...not from fiche....Yayyyyyyyy! In its 12th year of publication, Daredevil Comics had pretty much been turned over to the Little Wise Guys, with Daredevil himself being relegated to guest appearances in his own book. He didn't even make it into this issue. Bummer. But still a good comic.
