Just to let you know we have a problem with one of our servers and a certificate. This deals with images. A ticket has been raised and it will be fixed. When I cannot say!

Update is I think the problem has been identified. Basically our image server can't see the outside world (although we can see it).  Therefore it can't contact other machines to renew certificates and licences. Which in turn causes the problems we are seeing. This is being escalated at our hosting providers.

I am not sure when it will be fixed BUT I am at least happy the explanation does fit the symptoms. I can't log on to the server as it says license has expired and also our certificate for HTTPS also did not do its 3 month renewal. In other words a localized network issue. Once the machine can see its neighbourhood I am hopeful all will be fine.

I'm still not able to see or download and comics.

I'm getting the error message -

MISDIRECTION REQUEST
The client needs a new connection for this request as the requested host name does not match the Server Name Indication (SNI) in use for this connection.

Apache server at box01.comicbookplus.com Port 443

I tried several different issues and got the same message for each.

I don't know if it's something I'm doing at this end?

Hi This is fixed.

As I wrote before, the server could not see out. And therefore was just stuck in limbo ticking along but with no updates. This was not noticeable until licences expired and did not renew.

At this point the problem was realized and fixed.

However, apparently a month or so back an update caused problems to servers in our data centre. We were not affected then (as it could not update) ... but of course now it was up and running, it eventually did the update and SPLAT!

Anyway back we are!
