Is plastic man's origin story here on ComicBook plus? I'm thinking of starting to read Plastic Man comics on my YouTube channel. I know the Plastic Man origin story exists, because I read it somewhere.  He fell into a giant vat of chemicals while chasing other hoodlums or gangsters and it gave him his superpowers, whereupon he renounced his life in crime and started fighting criminals.  I also know Plastic Man number 1 exists here on ComicBook plus, but it doesn't contain the origin story. Perhaps another issue?

Thanks! So his "real life story" was similar to superman: he appeared in police comics, while superman appeared in detective comics! Plus, I see the storyline continues in police comics a while before spinning off into his own comic line. looks like I'll have enough plastic man to read for a long time!
