I'm not involved in the comics industry as an employee, and I have no connection to the administration of this site. I guess I'm just a regular reader.

Am I correct in assuming you work for a publishing house and help authors visualize the cover and overall look of their comics so they're competitive? What's the name or description of your job?

Sorry, I don't know how to edit messages. I just wanted to add that my question is purely out of curiosity and because I have a few other questions about the industry in general, and I'd be interested in talking about it, knowing you're a part of it. I'm not from the US and don't know the rules of etiquette, so I'm writing this to avoid causing confusion or anything similar.
Please, if you decide to reply to this message, don't include your name or the company you work for. It's not required, and I've seen posts on this forum where people recommend against it due to the risk of spam, etc.

Anyway, I'm just as much of a reader here as you are. I saw your message today; I just came out of the shadows yesterday and introduced myself. I'm a photographer by training and Visual arts qualification and have been a reader of comics for 65 years.
I download just covers from this site when they grab me and have worked out principles certain artists use on their covers.   
There can be a lot to it.

The Britannica says,
[Anna Karenina, novel by Leo Tolstoy, published in installments between 1875 and 1877 and considered one of the pinnacles of world literature.] I read, almost compulsively.  My house is more like a library, but I have never read Tolstoy. Probably I should. What translation would you recommend? Is there a contemporary translation?]
