The problem is with their copyright system that is based on the death of the copyright holder. Makes it difficult to determine if something has fallen into public domain.But you have been set up to download enjoy what we have from the UK and all others

Robin, sorry to be so late with this.  As Victor and Hotspur were DC Thomson titles, it's very difficult to find full scans on line - DCT are seriously litigious and protect their copyrights zealously.  However, if you haven't already found it, here's a site with a history and some covers:- http://www.victorhornetcomics.co.uk/

where you'll also find lots of covers for other titles.  There are always issues for sale on ebay and here:
