This tells me a lot, was the reprint GA was it public domain, what was its name and when was it reprinted narfstar?

I'm thinking she might be concerned the 1987 Reprint may be under copyright laws and her query is for the protection of the well being of the forum.

Without seeing the copyright info that would have no doubt come with the reprint l cannot say, but since it was a different publisher, and the ink used is modern, the comic is likely still copy protected, sorry narfster but we cannot use it. Any one checking through our collection could recognise modern reprints and l do not want to lose the site just for the sake of a copy. Just because it is a reprint of a public domain copy does not  mean the reprint is also public domain, all comics printed after 1962 are automatically copy protected unless the publisher makes them public domain, does not matter whether they were a reprint or not.

Sorry my understanding was that if no changes were made it was still public domain.  This appears to not be recolored or anything.  But I understand your reluctance. JIM
