marvel vs dark horse

Bonjour to any and all  I hereby declare that with Stan Lees retirement........ from Marvel.
And DCs almost preeminent sales syncronicity what comics and new adventures can we expect fom these personages into the future.
Obviously I should clariify.. all the titles that have been built upon success after success are due to writers and some artists that quite rarely gain any credit.  This is probably due to various of the folk attempting to step into others'  limelight.

Anyhow I am an aspiring graphic design student and would like to know what characters and storylines people tend to like in a science fiction setting...?
PS I am going to write and draw my ideas anyway, but some suggestions would be intriguing.
My name is Simon McDOnald  - or RPGOVIC (a game tag) and am currently writing some comic stories... in the event any body else would be interested in observing what characters and settings I am employing - drop a line and I shall hget back to you

I tend to like more hard science fiction. Set in future outer space rather than on earth. Interesting and original aliens and inventions.

When I saw the above subject line, my first thought was that the post was asking the question "Who would win in a fight?"  :)

The answer, of course, is Superman.
