I am a school teacher. But just look at people who make it big in music or acting and it is purely by chance for many. Right place at the right time.

I was teaching Sophomore Geometry but switched this year to Freshman Algebra.

The quote is cool and often accurate. However, when it comes to the field of entertainment, I think chance is   the biggest factor. It is as much about being discovered as having talent. Look at some of the phenomenal talents on AMERICA'S GOT TALENT. Some should have beens super stars long ago but never got discovered until that show.
