I think there should be a separate place for all these partial issues.

You'll have Mark tearing his hair out 'cos he's got enough trouble sorting out our current sections.  If you have a look in the U.K. and Australian section, there will be a couple of entries where the scanner has scanned only the strips and not the prose stories.  I think it's obvious when you bring up a title and note the number of pages that not all the comic is there. And if it was not in it's correct place, readers and researchers might not find it. The other problem that you perhaps haven't taken into account is that we just don't have a complete issue of the comic.  Hopefully, in time a complete issue might turn up.
Good to hear from you, rea.

Hey Paw ... I'd never tear my hair out!! I'd much prefer to continuously bang my head on the wall. Every morning I count each productive follicle .. and at the moment it is "steady as she goes".

Paw, you are however right that on listings if you look at page numbers it is apparent when there are pages missing. At the moment I have been cleaning up the names, to make everything less cluttered, that included removing words like incomplete, (inc), inc etc.

But the plan is, books that are cataloged by GCD have the number of pages in a field ... so by comparing our # of pages to what GCD says we can deduce ones with missing pages. But I would also like to show that books are fiche, part fiche and digital camera. At the moment these are still in the name ... but I am thinking about some sort of icon system.

And again you are right ... I was thinking about this very point today. Everyday things are becoming more  complete. So that is where the main effort should go, and not in dealing with items that will go and covering holes that will be eventually be filled. Years of work left!
