New Age of the Superhero
« on: January 27, 2014, 08:59:56 PM »

Greetings! New here to the site. Comics fan/collector since 1970 (I was four years old). Have bought/sold thousands of comics over the years. Major collecting stopped in the 1990s. Still take a look at what's going on in the $3-$5 -for-a comic-that-I-can't-believe-since-when-I-started-collecting-they-were-.15/.20/.25!! It seems that everyone is pro-superhero now what with big blockbuster films starring Avengers, Supermen and Batmen. How long will the trend last? The Shadow knows....oops, wrong forum.

Oh I don't know, Chris, what with all those lovely Shadow comics over the years ( and the Archie Radio comics version. )  Actually we have a pulp section as well.  Anyway, welcome, enjoy the comics and let's hear from you on the forum.
By the way, as a superhero nut from way back I have to admit that I just don't read modern superhero comics - and it's not just the price that puts me off.
