Decent mystery. The script is interesting and it plays fair with the reader. Acting is good except some of the catty sparring between Nikki and Gallows' secretary is hard to make out. Peggy Lee appears as the "listener's representative." She sounds unscripted and very uncomfortable. The "Indian" diamond expert sounds like a Peter Lorre impersonator.
