Odd Problem Downloading (Calibre)

Howdy all, just joined here (great to see a site like this exists!) and I'm running into a problem downloading some onto my computer.

Correct: they download just fine in Calibre but trying to convert them to any other format makes black and white. Not sure if its just the cover in color though. I'm sure this problem is on my end, but I'm not exactly the tech savvy type so bear with me. Any ideas why it wouldn't download in color?
