I am wondering about the Magic Comics (King Features), the ones with Mandrake and all. Does anybode here know with what number they started, - Yes #1 is the most common choice, but really far from universal, I have comics from series starting with #0, with #201, with #1801, with #2501, with #48 (continued of an earlier series in which "47" had #19168 ) , ones which started each year again with #2, ones with two different numbers on the cover, ones starting without numbers and ones who have been renamed and renumbered in a reprint, so I am somewhat careful, even though most of them are postGA - and the number of the last issue?

Sorry, Magic Comics was McKay of course :-\, not King, I was misled by the Blondie cover of #75, the only readable cover I could find a scan of. I also found evidence of the existence of a #1, so I have now the information I needed. More is welcome of course.
