Yeah, I was a little confused by the extra cover scans at first, until I read the file names and looked closely at the third one. Very subtle, bminor, and nicely done. I do agree with narfstar that the sequence could be improved, but perhaps some of the more knowledgeable folks here can help you out with that.
BTW, sorry to report than none of these stories are by Matt Baker. He's a MUCH better artist than this. This is all done by anonymous members of The Iger Shop. You can check the Who's Who (
http://www.bailsprojects.com) for a list of possible candidates from 1955. Sadly, the WW has way too many credits for Baker, including a career at the Iger Shop that actually ended in 1949 at the latest (I believe 1948, but that's just my opinion). Put Matt Baker into the search field on the bailsprojects site and then check the "Iger Shop" entry for a more realistic appraisal of his tenure there. (Odd that they could get this entry right and the Iger Shop tenure listed under the Matt Baker entry so wrong...)
By 1955 Matt Baker was just ending six years at St. John (the last five as Art Director) and beginning to work at Atlas.
Welcome to GAC and I hope you find many more comics to scan.
