Thanks Yoc. Wolverton's humor is great. Makes you wonder what he would have been like if he would have tried stand-up comedy. I ordered a copy of The Wolverton Bible the other day but have not gotten it yet. Has anyone here read it?

I did, narf,
many years ago in the original six volume collected version. Well, actually, there are TWO "six volume collected versions" - one set in gray covers and a later set in blue covers, which actually contains about half-again as much as the first set. Wolverton kept creating more over the years, you see.

It's a very literal adaptation of The Bible, the text also being adapted by Wolverton. You can't go wrong with them. I hope the new edition reprints all that he did.

Thanks for that link, Yoc. I think I'll print myself out a nice booklet of these to enjoy.

Jim I will let you know what is in it when I get it. I ordered it and The Ten Cent Plague (which many have referenced and praised - not perfect but good) from Amazon. Got the Amazon Visa at the same with initial $30 credit so got them both free. If I use it again on Amazon I will always pay it off at the end of the month like I do with my other active credit card. Credit cards make me money with cash back in gas since I pay it off every month. I get dept store, etc credit cards for the initial discount or freebie. Pay them off, let them expire, then do it again. Gotta beat the system any time I can.

I enjoyed The Ten Cent Plague, narf,
but I was disappointed in the lack of follow-up on the Janice Valeau story told in the Introduction. I kept waiting to hear more from her, but little was forthcoming. Other than that, though, it was interesting and pretty accurate.
