Apparently his last work was a followup to this.

Be interesting to see the differences.

As you probably know, Panther, Bagnoli became part of Bonelli's Martin Mystere team in 1985 and drew many MM adventures. His last work, "La Minaccia di Allagalla," was a Martin Mystere episode (issue #329). It seems to have appeared in 2013, shortly after Bagnoli's death. Here's a link to the Bonelli page advertising the book:

According to the synopsis, MM and some "unlikely allies" face the return of one of Ebor's robots. I found the sample pages disappointing. The figures are stiff and generic and some of the inks have an annoying "manga-y" look (it seems Maurizio Gradin inked the story; maybe that's his doing). But you know, the guy was in his 80s and had been drawing comics for 67 years, so he's entitled to get tired!

It'd be interesting to read the book but at 6 euros plus transatlantic shipping I'm not that interested. By the way, here's a nice overview (in Italian) of Bagnoli's career, with pictures and with reminiscences by his wife and his daughter:
