Love this cover and gee that vehicle looks familiar...
like perhaps we saw it in a certain George Lucas produced Sci-Fi movie in 2005?

I'm fascinated by these single-wheel "motorcycles." They seem to date back at least to the 1920s. Over the years I've run across various versions in popular science magazines. I guess they worked.  They must have had some problems since they never caught on..
