FANTASTIC !!!  Hi, its really great to have this forum, I have lurked around various boards and torrent sites, attempted to be a positive contributor to them , or at least as positive as I can with an upload speed of 128Kbs . I spent 2007 and 2008 providing full time palliative home care for my mother, with no real disposable income, and to be blunt finding some sites this - (some of whom also gave me frights with sudden removals or restrictions), etc re-ignited my decade-dormant passion for comics and also helped keep me sane while nature took its course. She passed away at 87 yrs old in June last year.

I am about to finish a somewhat difficult 12 month morning period (and full time post-grad study) in the next few weeks, and that will give me some free time.  - hopefully that will mean I can start pulling my weight in the on-line community.

thanks to all the people who have unknowingly lightened my load in the last few years.

I know how it feels, HP.  My mom passed away 3 years ago and I'm proud to say I was there for her in the last years of her life.  God bless and we'll be here.  I know how it is to have practically no disposable income, too.

My Mom died over 15 years ago; one of my very few fond memories of the time was a store with close to a complete run of the LSH from Superboy/LSH 204 to the then-current v4 #30 or so for .40 to a dollar.  I was on a tight enough budget that even at those prices I could only afford a few a week but they were one of the only bright spots in an utterly miserable year.

I still miss that store...
