something old, something new...
« on: July 08, 2009, 12:33:17 PM »

I am considering my next fun thing to do...

Take a cover or a whole book and redo it... like the HULK cover I did... example of how I will do it...

here: http://www.georgepetergatsis.org/

and

here: http://www.georgepetergatsis.net/

Now, does anyone have a suggestion of a good public domain book that is absolutely not in copyright?
(Shazam/Captain Marvel, TOR, Flash Gordon)

I want an exciting public domain book that I can redo from cover to cover and maybe post here perhaps? Is this even possible?

Sincerely,

George

Hmm, I'm not sure about hosting something like that George but you are welcome to post any link to a finished job.

Good luck,

Can you link to the comic?

AND...

I've chosen the comic to re-master or re-interpret ...

Do you mean the link to the original comic?
I was from Western Fighters v3 04 (Hillman Periodicals)

The Hulk comic is interesting though you should keep the gray color and he looks too much like the present day version. I don't understand what you were trying to do with the Supes/Spidey Team-up

"I don't understand what you were trying to do with the Supes/Spidey Team-up"

For the cover, I always wanted to remove the speedlines and the harsh shadows of the city and on Superman and Spider-Man...

For the splash page I wanted to remove the words, the speedlines and the harsh shadows of the city and on Superman and Spider-Man...

I was thinking of doing the hulk in grey... maybe when I have time I'll do an extra video on converting to grey...

PLUS, I have been creating art like shown in the videos since 1988...

Alot of people have asked me how I do this or that... so I've finally got around to creating videos, without dialogue... hopefully seeing the creation of the art will be self explain-ing-ly...
