Hi everybody.  I'm in the UK and stumbled across this site quite by accident.  On browsing through I came across the English Story Comic thread.  As the Rover,  Adventure and Wizard were the comics of my childhood I was transported back in time.  Eagerly waiting for Thursday and the delivery of my comics with the morning papers so I could read the next episode in the series of the Tuff Of The Track etc.

Hi John and welcome. Its always pleasant to welcome newbies. Yes this site will bring back memories if you've been into comics earlier in life. There is also an awful lot of stuff you won't yet be familiar with so jump in and enjoy. Feel free to interact and post if you are so inclined.

Welcome to CB+, megimp.  Like you, I'm in the U.K. and fondly remember all those weeklies.  There are so few British comics nowadays.  I'm glad you're enjoying the old stories but as Panther says, there is a lot more to delve into.  Good to have you here.
